Product Details
Product description
Rolling doors are made up of a series of tongue-and-groove slats that are collected rolled up on an axis in a superior position on the door frame. The entire roll with its axis is hidden inside the "top cover" or called shutter box. The top covers are usually between 32 and 40 cm per side.
The roller shutter slats can have a flat or curved section. Flat slats give a more uniform look to the exterior but require bigger cover to roll up. Curved slats require smaller covers and give the option of having self-locking tongue-and-groove joints that reinforce the closure in the closed position.
Options
There are also slats of aluminum with an imitated wood finish, an interesting option for some garages.
Installation
The space required to install a garage rolling door will depend on whether the door is placed "attached" (behind the clear opening and screwed to the wall) or "inserted" into the opening itself. In either case, it must be taken into account that the guides occupy approximately 18 cm on each side and the top cover between 32 and 40 cm above (depending on the slat style).
